Star
Wars has been one of my favorite franchises since I was about seven years
old. The epic space opera shaped my likes and
interests from a young age and continues to do so today. So
when I was allowed to pick whatever subject I wanted for my high school Fabrics
class, my first impulse was to choose Darth Vader. I used a technique involving hot wax and fabric dye called
Batik.
