This
is a poster I made as a promotion for The Concert for
the Deaf that 7UP put on with the help of Martin Garrix.
I based the color design and color pallete for this poster on the
lighting and visuals used in the concert venue itself. This involved
using different shades of blues and greens along with mimicking the graphics
used to convey sound to the deaf concert goers.
I knew I also wanted to incorporate some American Sign Language into the poster so I added the sign for "love" along with the rock and roll horns. In the original sketch they were overlapping, however in the final form of the poster, they are both reaching up and out together.
